Advocacy Against Antisemitism
Leadership development, campus partnerships, and practical strategies that help Jewish students belong and lead.
Protecting students and strengthening campus
Hillel at UCLA is a center for community building, fighting antisemitism through leadership development, and solidifying Jewish peoplehood. Hillel works with students, faculty, university leaders, community partners, and allies to support Jewish expression and education, build confidence, and shift the campus conversation.
The strategic vision identifies campus antisemitism, Jewish exclusion, and campaigns against Zionism as threats that can isolate and harass visibly Jewish or openly Zionist students. Its response includes student leadership training, interfaith outreach, participation in UCLA's Initiative to Combat Antisemitism, Hillel International's Campus Climate Initiative, Israel education and travel, and an organizing strategy designed to be scalable.
